He completed his residency in obstetrics and gynecology and went on to complete fellowship training in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery and pelvic reconstruction. Dr. Lax served as Chief of Gynecologic Surgery and trained younger physicians in robotic surgery. He then completed a second fellowship training in cosmetic surgery.
